Live folk, blues and world music evening with Hannah James and Toby Kuhn at The Greystones.
Hannah James and Toby Kuhn play The Greystones on Monday 9 November, a night presented by Board Walk Live. It's a two-person bill, with James and Kuhn sharing the stage rather than taking turns.
If you're not familiar with them, it helps to know where they're coming from. Hannah James was formerly part of Kerfuffle and is now a member of Lady Maisery, so she's spent years in some of the more prominent names in the folk scene. Toby Kuhn is a post-classical musician with a taste for improvisation and folk music of all persuasions, and his unorthodox approach to the cello has won him admiration from Japan to Canada. The two come together here for a set that sits across folk, blues and world styles.
