A free Halloween-themed guided walk through the Sheffield Botanical Gardens to find poisonous and magical plants, led by Friends of the Botanical Gardens Sheffield.
Friends of the Botanical Gardens Sheffield are leading a Halloween-themed tour of the Sheffield Botanical Gardens on Tuesday 27 October, from 1 pm to 2 pm. It's a walk through the grounds in search of poisonous and magical plants, and it runs for one hour.
The tour is part of the Gardens' programme of monthly themed public guided walks, with each one built around a subject chosen for the month ahead. This edition is the Halloween special, and it threads through the Gardens to find the plants that fit the bill. The group meets at the entrance to The Dorothy Fox Education Centre, which is at the top of the slope from the Thompson Road gates off Ecclesall Road (Broomhall, S11 8RB).
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Sheffield and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Entry is free, though a suggested donation of £3 is recommended. It's a guided walk, so you'll be following the group through the Gardens rather than wandering on your own, and the whole thing takes an hour from start to finish. If you're coming from the Ecclesall Road side, you'll enter via Thompson Road and head up the slope to the Dorothy Fox Education Centre, where the group gathers before setting off.
