Half-term holiday circus clubs and workshops for ages 7 to 16 with aerials, acrobatics, juggling and performance.
Greentop Community Circus Centre is running its October half term circus clubs on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October, with sessions running from 09:30 to 16:00. They're open to young people aged 7 to 16, and each one works as a one-day club, so you can pick a single day rather than committing to the whole half term.
The sessions bring together aerials, acrobatics, juggling, creativity and performance. There's a good mix of things to get stuck into: the chance to fly on an aerial hoop, master a new juggling trick, or build a show from scratch. It's designed as a safe and supportive environment, which makes it a decent shout if you're introducing someone to circus for the first time.
Because they're one-day clubs, they fit around whatever else you've got going on over the break. If you've only got one day free, that works; if you want to do both, you can. The age range is broad, from 7 up to 16, so it's suitable for younger kids and teenagers alike.
