Free themed mini disco for children with the Grinch, who leads dance and games to children's favourite tunes.
Cambridge Street Collective are putting on a kids mini disco at their Sheffield city centre venue on Sunday 13 December, with the Grinch as the guest of honour. It's a themed session built around him, and he'll be turning up to dance and lead games to a selection of the children's favourite tunes, so the whole thing is built for the younger ones to get stuck in.
It's a morning session, running from 10:00 to 11:30, which makes it a decent shout for a Sunday when you've still got the rest of the day ahead of you. The Grinch is the main draw here, and the games and dancing are the two things he'll be leading, so it's less about sitting and watching and more about getting the kids on their feet. The music is a mix of the tunes they already know, so they'll be dancing to songs they actually recognise rather than anything too out of the blue.
It's held at Cambridge Street Collective, 11 Backfields, S1 4HP, right in the city centre, which is handy if you're coming in from across Sheffield. They're the ones organising it, and it's their own space they're running it from. The whole thing is free, so it's an easy one to drop into without having to worry about tickets or a big outlay.
