Stand-up comedy show by Finlay Christie at The Steamworks, an hour of humblebragging and authentic connection.
Finlay Christie plays The Steamworks on Thursday 5 November, an hour of stand-up from a comedian who's been on stage since he was seven. He's a writer and content creator as well as a comic, and he's been doing this since he was a child, which is a fair bit longer than most of us have been doing anything in public.
He's got a few things to his name: he won the 'So You Think You're Funny' competition in 2019 and was nominated for NextUp's 'Best Show' award in 2022 for his solo show OK Zoomer. You might recognise him from Live at the Apollo, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Have I Got News For You, and his YouTube specials OK Zoomer and Aura Farmer have nearly a million views between them. Chortle called him 'the voice of a generation', which is a big claim for anyone to live up to.

As for the show itself, he describes it as an hour of humblebragging about his 'fuckboy era' and his new search for meaningful, authentic connection. It's a 16+ show, so it's not for the under-16s. The Steamworks is at 111 Randall Street, Sheffield, S2 4SJ, with doors opening at 18:30. Tickets are £20.20, which includes the booking fee.
