Emo tribute night with a live band, DJs, performers and confetti showers celebrating 2000s emo, nu-metal and pop-punk.
Emo Fest comes to Corporation on Saturday 21 November, part of a wider tour taking the show to more than 21 cities across the UK and Europe. It's a tribute night to the music of the 2000s emo, nu-metal and pop-punk of the Kerrang era, and they describe it as 'the greatest emo tribute night to the music that was never just a phase'.
It's built for anyone who grew up with that sound, whether you're 'a little emo' or an 'elder emo'. The night works as a full sensory experience rather than a straight cover set: a live band plays the biggest emo anthems, live performers join in, and DJs spin the angst all night. Confetti showers and balloon drops lean into the teenage nostalgia of the genre, so it's more of a club night than a seated gig.
It's a standing event for ages 14 and over, with under-18s required to be accompanied by an adult. That means it's open to a fairly broad crowd, from those who were there when the records first came out to a younger generation discovering them now. If you're bringing someone under 18, just make sure there's an adult with them.

Corporation is at 2 Milton Street in the city centre, S1 4JU. The night runs from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, with last entry at 10pm, so you've got a good window to get in and settle in before the main part of the night kicks off. Tickets are £18.
