Halloween night at Corporation with a Stranger Things theme, 80s tunes and three rooms of music for Corpse Fest.
Corporation is back with its Halloween tradition on Saturday 31 October, with the Stranger Things 80s Takeover running from 11pm until 3am. It's part of Corpse Fest, the venue's long-running Halloween party, which they describe as three rooms of chaos, terrifying tunes, and enough mayhem to raise the dead. The 80s room is the one that usually fills first, and this year it's built around Stranger Things, with 80s tunes to keep the crowd safe from Vecna's grasp.
Corporation, on Milton Street at the bottom of Devonshire Green, has been running Halloween nights for around thirty years. It's often called the single most reliable Halloween fixture in Sheffield: it will definitely happen, it will definitely be busy, and you know exactly what you're getting. The night is run by the same promoter who handles the venue's Dirty Deeds Saturday nights, and the music is spread across three rooms. One does anthems, pop and throwbacks; the second focuses on indie and indie rock; and the third is for metal and alt rock. If you're there for the 80s, that's the room you'll be spending most of your time in.
