A night of Britpop music featuring two tribute acts, Definitely Mightbe and The Replicators, at the O2 Academy 2.
Definitely Mightbe are playing O2 Academy 2 on Friday 5 March, and they're not coming alone. They're bringing The Replicators with them, so it's a double bill of tribute acts rather than a single band taking the stage. If you've spent any time around the city's live scene, you'll know the O2 Academy 2 is the smaller, more intimate room of the two, which usually suits this kind of night better than the main hall.
Definitely Mightbe are an Oasis tribute, so their set is built around the Gallagher brothers' songbook. The Replicators, on the other hand, cover Britpop more broadly, which means they'll be pulling from a wider range of the 90s scene. Between the two of them, the night covers a fair chunk of that era's guitar music, with the Oasis material taking centre stage.

It's a Friday night, and the doors open at 19:00, with a curfew of 23:00. That gives you plenty of time to get in and settle before the music starts, and the curfew means the whole thing will be wrapped up by eleven, so you're not stuck there until the early hours. If you're planning to make a night of it, that's a useful bit of timing to have in mind.
