Garage punk night from DC Presents with Rotterdam band Iguana Death Cult and support from Wax Head at Delicious Clam.
Iguana Death Cult are playing Delicious Clam on Tuesday 20 October, with Wax Head opening the night. The whole thing is put on by DC Presents, and it runs from 19:30 to 23:45.
Iguana Death Cult come over from Rotterdam, and they're a garage punk band. Their latest work reflects on hardship and doubt while facing a burning world, and the sound still channels their early punk and garage roots. It's built around Tobias Opschoor's razor-sharp riffs, Rennert's relentless drumming, Jimmy de Kok's groovy rhythms, and Jeroen Reek's raw, emotive vocals. If you're into that kind of thing, it's a good chance to catch them live.
