Cinema Stereo, the alternative rock trio from Florida now based in Nashville, play their first UK headline show at Yellow Arch Studios with special guests Orchidelia.
Cinema Stereo play Yellow Arch Studios on Friday 27 November, with Orchidelia on as special guests. It's part of their first full European and UK headline tour, so it's the first time they're bringing their live show across the Atlantic.
They're a rock trio originally from Orlando, Florida, now based in Nashville. Ian Rayha fronts the band on vocals, bass, guitar and keyboards, with Sebastian Borysek on lead guitar and Jeffrey Lageveen on drums. They describe their sound as cinematic, melodic alternative rock, and the influences they cite — Queen, The Police, Cheap Trick, Aerosmith and The Killers — give you a fair idea of the territory they're working in: big melodies and a classic rock foundation.
The set will draw on their debut full-length album, 12:34, which came out on 2 October 2026. It was produced by Nashville's Paul Moak and recorded at The Smoakstack, with artwork by pop artist Kii Arens. One of the singles, 'Lean On You', has a bit of a story to it: Rayha reportedly wrote it in about ten minutes after being inspired by a John Mayer video.
