The West End musical based on the hit film Burlesque, with music by Christina Aguilera, Sia and Diane Warren, comes to The Lyceum.
Burlesque The Musical opens at The Lyceum on Tuesday 27 October, running through to Saturday 31 October. It's a new stage adaptation of the movie, with Christina Aguilera as executive producer and Steven Antin writing the piece. The story follows Ali, who heads to New York City in search of the mother she never knew and gets drawn into a dazzling underground world of music and dance beneath the city lights, where she discovers her own extraordinary voice. The production draws on its original West End run at the Savoy Theatre between July and September 2025, when it became that summer's biggest West End hit, and has since been described as a feast of sequins, spotlights and sultry striptease.
The cast brings together a few familiar faces. Faye Brookes, known from Coronation Street and Chicago, plays Tess Richarde, while Ryan Carter, from Titanique and Motown the Musical, takes on two roles, Sean and Ms Loretta. Gracie O'Brien makes her professional stage debut as Ali Rosea. Davide Fienauri, from Kiss of the Spider Woman, plays Vince, Tyler Davis, from Jamie Lloyd's Sunset Blvd, is Jackson, and Vanessa Ela Young, from The Drifters Girl, plays Nikki.
The music is a big part of it. The score pairs powerhouses Christina Aguilera, Sia and Diane Warren with new numbers by Todrick Hall and Jess Folley, so you'll hear a mix of big names and fresh material. The age guidance is 12+, and accessible performances are available.
