Boxing Day family Christmas event with greyhound racing, a festive three-course brunch, a visit from Santa and a gift for every child under 12.
Brunch with Santa is at Owlerton Stadium on Tuesday 22 December, part of the stadium's Christmas 2026 season. It's a family session that puts a festive meal and a visit from Santa alongside live greyhound racing, so you've got the racing and the Christmas stuff happening in the same place.
The meal is a three-course festive spread, and Santa comes round to visit the tables. Every child under 12 gets a gift, too. It's set up as a family outing, with the racing running as a backdrop to the food and the visit.
It's one of several Christmas events Owlerton has on this year. There are Lunch with Santa sessions on the Sundays of 6, 13 and 20 December, and Boxing Day racing on Saturday 26 December. For those looking for something later in the evening, there are Christmas race nights every Friday and Saturday with a DJ and a late-night bar. The stadium also does race night packages from the glass-fronted Panorama Restaurant, where you can watch the racing and place bets from your table, as well as private VIP Hospitality Boxes and more informal trackside bars.
