Halloween-themed cabaret night mixing burlesque, comedy, drag and live music.
Bloody Mary's Macabre Cabaret comes to The Steamworks on Friday 30 October, just a few days before Halloween. It's a cabaret night with a Halloween theme, and the bill pulls together burlesque, comedy, drag and live music, so you'll see a few different styles on the same stage rather than just one thing running all night.
That's the basic setup: burlesque for the dance and costume, comedy for the laughs, drag for the performance, and live music to tie it together. It's a cabaret in the traditional sense, where the acts change throughout the evening, and the Halloween theme runs across the whole thing. If you're into any of those, it's a good way to see them all in one go.
