First birthday of Blend, Sheffield's club night of local DJs playing bassline, techno, garage, house and jungle, with a 'Slime Time' fancy dress theme.
Blend are back at Sidney and Matilda on Friday 30 October, and this one is a bit of a milestone: it's the club night's first birthday. The night is called Blend 4: It's Slime Time, and the fancy dress theme is exactly that — 'SLIME TIME' — so if you've got something neon, gooey, or just plain weird in the wardrobe, this is the night to bring it out.
For those who haven't caught them before, Blend is a Sheffield club night that champions local DJ talent. The music lives up to the name, pulling from a few different corners of the dancefloor: bassline, techno, garage, house and jungle. It's not a one-genre thing, so you'll hear a fair bit of ground covered across the night. The line-up for this one is LINNEMANN, BETTY, KOM KOM, SID LIFTOFF, LUCY LUSH, and the Blend Residents.
There's also something worth knowing about where the money goes: all profits from ticket sales are donated to Assist Sheffield, a local charity. So your ticket does a bit more than just get you through the door.

It's a late one, running from 9:00 PM on Friday 30 October through to 4:00 AM on Saturday 31 October, at Sidney and Matilda, 46 Sidney Street, S1 4RH. If you're going to lean into the slime theme, you've got plenty of time to get it right.
