Bleach Lab live, premiering new material alongside a set of favourites at a special fan-led show in an intimate venue.
Bleach Lab play Sidney and Matilda on Tuesday 3 November, in The Factory room. It's a small one — a special 80-capacity show — and it's part of a run of fan-led dates in intimate venues this autumn. They're a South London indie quartet originally from Buckinghamshire, and they've built their sound around a mix of spaced-out melodies and jangly guitars, which they describe as introspective yet emotionally frenetic. They cite Mazzy Star and The Smiths as influences, and that jangly, melodic side of indie comes through in the songs.
The set will feature new material alongside a selection of favourites. The new stuff arrives on the back of Falling, released on 9 September, their first self-penned track since the Close to the Flame EP in July 2025. That EP was their first self-produced project, and it looked at the hardships of love through the band's own experiences. Singer Jenna Kyle says Falling is about falling in love, and that early-stage feeling of losing your sense of self in another person. Hearing it live, you'll get the new material and the older songs in one go.
