Big Special plays Electric Studios in Sheffield, with The Joy Hotel and Bradley Taylor in support.
Big Special play Electric Studios on Thursday 3 December, with doors opening at 19:00. It's a Futuresound Events night, and they've brought along two support acts to fill out the bill: The Joy Hotel and Bradley Taylor. Both open before Big Special take the stage, so it's a full evening of music rather than just a single set.
If you're not familiar with the name, Big Special is the project of singer-songwriter and producer Big Special. The music sits in that space where indie-pop meets something a bit more soulful, and the live show is where it usually comes together best. The Joy Hotel and Bradley Taylor are the two opening acts, and they'll be playing their own sets before the main act comes on.

Electric Studios is over on Leadmill Road, so it's right in the thick of Sheffield's music quarter. It's a good spot for a mid-week gig, and with doors at 19:00, there's plenty of time to get in and settle before the first act starts. General admission is £29.30, which includes a £2.50 booking fee and a £1.80 venue restoration fee. The venue is at 6 Leadmill Road, Sheffield S1 4SE.
