Being the BEST You

Being the BEST You comes to the Crucible Theatre on Thursday 19 November, a fireside conversation between two Sheffield business leaders talking through their experiences of business, leadership and life. It's not a formal presentation; the whole thing is built around the two of them sitting down and chatting, with the conversation moving between the professional and the personal.

On one side is Donna Tilbrook, CEO of BEST Solicitors, who's been at the helm of the firm for 25 years and helped shape its growth over that quarter-century. Opposite her is Sharron Lowe, a global keynote speaker, bestselling author and mind coach who's spoken in more than 45 countries, with a career that's touched on business, entrepreneurship and some of the world's leading luxury brands. They're coming from two different angles — one from the long-term running of a Sheffield firm, the other from a global platform — and the session brings those two perspectives together.

There's more to it than just the talk, too. Drinks and informal networking open and close the session, so you've got time to settle in before it starts and to stick around afterwards. It's set up for you to connect with other local business leaders in the room, rather than just watching from your seat.
