Intimate yoga session with Iwona combining warming flows, deep mobility and strength work to clear tension and prepare the body for winter.
Iwona is running an autumn flow and release yoga session at Made to Move Sheffield on Friday 6 November, starting at 6:00 pm. It's a one-off evening class, and she's running it with Solea Studio.
She describes the session as a deeply nourishing mix of movement, breath control and guided relaxation, grounded in biomechanics and somatic regulation. The whole thing is aimed at clearing physical tension and mental fatigue as we transition into the colder months, so it's built around the shift in season. The class focuses on the hips, psoas, back and the nervous system, working through warming flows, deep mobility and strength-building to get the body ready for winter. It's a slow-burn approach rather than a fast-paced workout, with the relaxation part taking up a good chunk of the time.
One thing that sets it apart from a typical gym class is the group size: it's kept small and intimate, with no more than eight people in the room. That means you're not just one face in a crowd of thirty, and you'll get a bit more individual attention throughout the session. It's for ages 18 and over, and it's an in-person class, so you'll be there on the mat rather than following along from home.
