An evening of four 15-minute talks and a panel Q&A with female sports specialists on fuelling, hormones, pelvic health and injury for active women.
Women in Sport & Exercise: The Conversations Everybody Should Be Having comes to Made to Move Sheffield on Monday 2 November, running from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. It's an evening that brings together four female specialists to give active women clear, evidence-based answers on fuelling, hormones, pelvic health and injury — areas where advice aimed at women is often conflicting or silent.
Rather than a workout, it's billed as a conversation and learning session. The night is structured as four 15-minute talks with short interactive breaks in between, closing with a 15-minute panel Q&A. You'll leave with a clear action, a goody bag and speaker offers.
The line-up covers the four topics: Lauren Rose Gregory is an HCPC-registered dietitian who has worked clinically since 2012; Jess Ellis, founder of S3LF and a TEDx speaker, coaches from an anti-punishment, body-trust philosophy; Emily Elgar is a pelvic health physiotherapist with nearly two decades of clinical experience who runs the Pelvic Health Company in Sheffield; and Charlotte Barker is a First Class Honours sports therapist. Between them, they cover the fuel, the hormones, the pelvic health and the injury side of things.

Tickets are £40 and limited to 30 places, so it'll be a small group rather than a big crowd. The venue is The Recovery & Performance Hub at Made to Move Sheffield, 50 Rutland Road, Neepsend, Sheffield, S3 8BD.
