Solo acoustic night with Martin Stephenson, mixing Daintees songs and his own material, with all ticket money donated to Sheffield cat charities.
Martin Stephenson plays solo acoustic at Mandala Café & Eatery on Monday 9 November, with the evening running from 7:45pm to 10pm. Doors open at 7:15pm. It's a solo show, just him and his guitar, and it's put on by Sneaky Weasel Promotions.
Stephenson, often called the bard of Co. Durham, first made his name fronting the Daintees, whose debut album Boat to Bolivia came out about forty years ago. The set mixes Daintees songs with his own solo material, and there's plenty of North Eastern repartee woven in between the music. The whole thing is expected to run for about two hours and fifteen minutes.
