Stand-up show by comedian Amy Gledhill about the difficulties of first dates, social interactions and spa visits.
Amy Gledhill brings her stand-up show Thanks For Having Me to the Montgomery Theatre on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 February 2027, both nights starting at 8pm. It's a two-night run, so you've got a couple of chances to catch it.
The show follows Gledhill as she struggles to nail a first date, a social interaction, or a trip to the spa — from which she is now banned. It runs around two hours including an interval, and it's recommended for ages 14 and over because of strong language. If you're planning to go, keep in mind that the member sale has already sold out, so you'll want to check for remaining tickets sooner rather than later.
If you're not already familiar with her, Gledhill is a comedian, actor, and writer from Hull who's worked across TV, stage, and podcasts. She's a Taskmaster alumnus and took home the most prestigious award in live comedy, and she's appeared in a Netflix blockbuster. On the podcast front, she co-hosts Single Ladies In Your Area and Northern News. Critics called her debut 'joyous', 'endearing' and 'jaw-droppingly good'.
