Alder Bar 5th Birthday Haunted Bar Party

Alder Bar is turning five on Saturday 31 October, and they're marking the milestone with a haunted bar party in Neepsend. It's a full day's affair, so you can roll in for the afternoon and stay well into the night if you fancy it.

The first half of the day belongs to Something Soulful, with Kenty on the decks from 4pm to 8pm. That's four hours of soul to get you through the late afternoon, and since it's a birthday party, it's a good time to gather a few people and settle in. If you're not one for the early start, you can skip the afternoon and just turn up for the second act.

Once the soul set wraps up, the night shifts gears. From 9pm and on until late, I'm Going Klub takes over with karaoke, so the singing starts after the DJ finishes. It's the kind of setup where you can spend the whole day there if you're up for it, or just pop in for one half or the other.

Entry is free, and the bar is in Neepsend, over in the Kelham Island area of Sheffield. Something Soulful runs from 4pm to 8pm, then I'm Going Klub karaoke kicks in at 9pm and goes until late.
