Elvis tribute show fronted by Rob Kingsley with a full live band and backing vocalists at The Montgomery Theatre.
Rob Kingsley brings A Vision of Elvis to The Montgomery Theatre on Friday 2 April, with the show starting at 7:30pm. It's an Elvis tribute that runs about two hours and ten minutes, including an interval, and carries an age guidance of 5+.
Kingsley is one of the UK's leading Elvis tribute artists, and he doesn't do this as a solo act. He's backed by a full live band and backing vocalists, so the sound is built around a proper ensemble rather than just a single voice. The set draws from Presley's live years, from the early classics to the big Las Vegas performances, and the production is built to match that scale: dynamic visuals, lighting, and period costumes are all part of it.
There's plenty of the familiar to sing along to, with Jailhouse Rock, The Wonder of You, Burning Love, Suspicious Minds and American Trilogy all on the list. The show is billed as 'The Ultimate Elvis Experience - Live on Stage', and it leans on Kingsley's vocals, style and stage presence to recreate the power and passion of those live years.
