Grammy-nominated R&B singer-songwriter Victoria Monét performs live on her Frequency Of Love Tour at the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre.
Victoria Monét plays the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU on Sunday, December 6, as part of her Frequency Of Love Tour. The San Diego stop is a headline date, with Monét as the sole bill.
If you've heard her name but can't quite place the voice, it's probably because she's spent years working behind the scenes. A Sacramento native, Monét is a singer-songwriter-producer-performer who's written and collaborated with Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony, Chloe x Halle, BLACKPINK, and Selena Gomez. She's a Grammy nominee who's spent as much time in the studio for other artists as she has on her own recordings.
She stepped fully into the spotlight in 2020 with JAGUAR, an album she released independently. It hit number one on the iTunes R&B album charts in 66 countries and picked up praise from NPR, Pitchfork, and Billboard. She followed that in 2023 with JAGUAR II, her sophomore record. Between the two, she's built a catalog that leans into R&B, and she's played festivals like Day n' Vegas, Sol Blume, and Made In America. This San Diego show is one stop on the Frequency Of Love Tour, which takes those records out on the road.
