A beloved holiday concert featuring the San Diego Symphony, San Diego Master Chorale and San Diego Children's Choir with festive classics and sing-alongs.
Noel Noel returns to The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park from December 18 to 20, the San Diego Symphony's holiday tradition back on the waterfront stage. It's a three-night run of Christmas classics, festive favorites and sing-alongs, and it's part of the orchestra's outdoor season.
The scale of the thing is what stands out. The San Diego Symphony doesn't go it alone here; they're joined by the San Diego Master Chorale and the San Diego Children's Choir, so you've got a full orchestra and two choirs on stage at once. Guest conductor Nicholas Buc leads the ensemble, with vocalist Devin DeSantis and actor Jacob Bruce also in the mix. The sing-alongs mean you're not just listening—you're expected to join in on the songs everyone knows.

Because it's a three-day run, you've got a few different times to choose from. The first performance is Friday, December 18 at 7:30 PM. Saturday, December 19 is at 6:00 PM, and Sunday, December 20 is a matinee at 4:30 PM. If you're bringing the whole family, that Sunday afternoon slot is usually the easiest one to work around.
