Country music concert featuring Turnpike Troubadours with special guests Steve Earle and Reckless Kelly at Petco Park.
Turnpike Troubadours are playing Gallagher Square at Petco Park on Thursday, October 15, with Steve Earle and Reckless Kelly opening. It's a three-act bill, so you're getting three full sets in one night rather than just one band and a quick opener. The Troubadours take the headline slot, and Earle and Reckless Kelly are listed as special guests.
If you're not already familiar, Turnpike Troubadours are a Red Dirt band out of Oklahoma. They've built their name on a blend of country, folk, and rock, with a songwriting style that leans into storytelling and a sound that's as comfortable in a dance hall as it is on a stage like this. Steve Earle brings a long history of Americana and roots music to the bill, and Reckless Kelly adds another layer of Texas country to the mix. Between the three of them, the night covers a fair amount of ground within the country and Americana world.
