The Happy Return, The Grinns, and Jettee play Quartyard on Friday, December 11, in a surf-rock and indie bill presented by Soda Bar. It's a three-band lineup, so you'll get a full night of music rather than just one act. The Happy Return headlines, with The Grinns and Jettee filling out the rest of the bill.
Quartyard is over in San Diego's East Village, at 1301 Market St. The room holds 425 people, so it's a decent-sized space for a club show—big enough that you don't have to worry about it selling out in five minutes, but small enough that you're still close to the stage. It's an all-ages show, so you can bring whoever you want. Doors open at 6 PM, which gives you plenty of time to get in and settle in before the first band takes the stage.
