Steel Pulse performs as a headliner on the main stage at the Mission Bayfest music festival in San Diego.
Steel Pulse play Mariner's Point Park on Friday, October 16, as part of Mission Bayfest. They're on the main stage that day, with Rebelution headlining and Surfer Girl also on the bill. The festival runs through the weekend, with Kolohe Kai headlining Saturday and The Offspring taking Sunday.
Mission Bayfest is a community-centered weekend that organizers describe as dedicated to local culture, chill music, water features and the region's perfect October weather. Managing partner Mikey Beltran says this year's acts come from across the world, including Guam and London, alongside plenty of San Diego local favorites. The festival has restructured its stages for this edition: the under-the-bridge stage returns with local DJs, a Jamaican act and the Emo Night Tour, which plays there for five hours on Sunday, and a new beach stage comes with bigger LED screens and speakers in the sand. The whole weekend is all-ages and cashless.
