A free community winter celebration in City Heights with snow, entertainment, local vendors, and a surprise for youth.
City Heights CDC is bringing its Annual City Heights CDC Winter Extravaganza to Teralta Park on Saturday, December 5, from 12 PM to 4 PM. It's a free community winter celebration, so you don't need a ticket to get in. The day is built around winter fun for families, with snow, local vendors and entertainment. There's also a surprise in the works for the youth.
The snow is the main draw, and the local vendors and entertainment fill out the rest of the afternoon. The surprise for the youth is one of those things you'll only find out by being there. Between the two, it's a day that works for kids and adults alike.
City Heights CDC is the organization behind it, and they describe their events and programs as being about connecting people and building community. That's the spirit they're bringing to this one, too.
