SOJA performs at the Mission Bayfest 2026 music festival held at Mariner's Point Park in San Diego.
SOJA headline Mariner's Point Park on Saturday, October 17, as part of Mission Bayfest 2026. The festival runs from Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 18, with the park at 3119 Mariners Way in San Diego. SOJA takes the Saturday slot, and they're one of three headliners: Rebelution plays Friday, Kolohe Kai joins them on Saturday, and The Offspring closes things out on Sunday.
SOJA is a D.C. area band led by Jacob Hemphill, who writes the lyrics, chords, and melody. Their sound pulls from reggae, go-go, D.C. hardcore, Latin, rock, and hip-hop, and they've sold more than 200,000 albums. They've headlined in over 20 countries, drawn nearly four million Facebook fans and over 80 million YouTube views, and toured with Dave Matthews Band, Incubus, and 311. They've also played Bonnaroo.
Following 2012's Strength To Survive, they released Amid the Noise and Haste in 2013, produced by Supa Dups. That record features Damian 'Jr. Gong' Marley on "Your Song" and Michael Franti and Nahko on "I Believe."
