National League Division Series home game 1 between the Brewers and the Padres at Petco Park.
The San Diego Padres host the Milwaukee Brewers at Petco Park on Tuesday, October 6, for Game 1 of the National League Division Series. It's a best-of-five series, so this is the first of potentially five games to decide who moves on. The Padres got here by sweeping the Chicago Cubs 2-0 in the National League wild card series. The Brewers, who finished the regular season with the best record in the league, were seeded first in the NL and earned a first-round bye, so this is their first game of the postseason.
There's a bit of a home-and-away contrast to keep in mind. During the regular season, the Padres went 3-0 at Petco Park, but they struggled on the road, losing their series 2-1 at American Family Field in Milwaukee. They did, however, win the season series 4-2 overall. That home-field advantage is a real factor here, especially since the Padres are starting the series on their own turf.

If the series goes long, you'll be back here again: Games 4 and 5 are also scheduled at Petco Park, on October 7 and October 9. The whole series will be broadcast on FS1, FOX Deportes, and FOX One, so you can follow along from home if you can't make it to the park. First pitch is at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, October 6.
