Rock band Houndmouth performs their The LORDY Tour with support from the indie rock band Dogpark at The Sound.
Houndmouth and Dogpark play The Sound on Saturday, November 21, as part of the band's The LORDY Tour. Houndmouth is an American rock band from New Albany, and 2026 brings them back with Lordy, a stripped-back, emotionally direct record that marks a new chapter for frontman Matt Myers. After a period of creative stagnation shaped by major life changes, Myers reconnected with songwriting through raw, unfiltered expression, writing largely alone for the first time. The resulting intimate, roots-driven album focuses on rebuilding, acceptance, and forward motion. Supported by producer Brad Cook and a small circle of collaborators, the band continues to evolve while retaining the melodic instincts and Americana foundation that first defined its sound.
Opening the bill is Dogpark, a New York City band that got its start playing at the University of Richmond, their alma mater, before moving on to sell-out shows across the country. The group consists of Eamon Moore on lead vocals, Chris Conte on drums, Declan Harris on lead guitar, and Billy Apostolou on bass and guitar. Their live reputation rests on an infectious stage presence and an homage to '90s indie rock.
