Gorillaz perform their The Mountain Tour, with support from Little Simz and Deltron 3030, at the Pechanga Arena.
Gorillaz are playing Pechanga Arena on Sunday, October 25, at 7:30 PM. It's part of The Mountain Tour, their first extensive North American outing since 2022, and it's the band's only San Diego date on the run. The tour is produced by Live Nation and covers 22 arena dates across the U.S. and Canada, starting September 17 in Orlando and wrapping up with a Halloween night finale in Seattle, with a headline appearance at the Shaky Knees festival mixed in.
They're touring their new album, The Mountain, which came out February 27 on their own independent KONG label. The record was preceded by singles like "The Happy Dictator," featuring Sparks, and "The Hardest Thing," featuring Tony Allen. The live show brings the virtual world they've built to the stage, with Damon Albarn joined by the Gorillaz live band and special guest performers. Rolling Stone called it an "overwhelming pop spectacle."
For those who aren't fully caught up, Gorillaz is a virtual act created by Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, fronted by the fictional characters 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs. The Guinness Book of World Records recognizes them as the planet's most successful virtual act, and they've picked up the Jim Henson Creativity Honor along the way.

They aren't the only ones on the bill. Little Simz and Deltron 3030 are both opening, so you'll get two full sets before Gorillaz takes the stage. The show starts at 7:30 PM at Pechanga Arena in San Diego.
