PBR: Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour

PBR is bringing the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour to the Pechanga Arena at San Diego Sports Arena on February 5 and 6, 2027. It's a two-night stop in San Diego, and it marks the tour's first return to the city since 2015. If you've been following the circuit, you know the Velocity Tour is where the PBR puts its rising stars and budding talents up against established names and legendary riders. That's the whole point of the format: seeing the new blood test themselves against the veterans in the same arena.

This stop is part of a 26-event regular season that will hit 27 cities across 19 states over 55 event days, before wrapping up with the Velocity Tour Finals in Corpus Christi, Texas. It's a long stretch of competition, and San Diego is one of the stops along the way. PBR is the world's premier bull riding organization, with more than 500 riders competing in over 200 events every year across its televised Unleash The Beast tour, the Velocity Tour, the Touring Pro Division, and its international circuits in Australia, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico.

The tour is backed by partners including Pendleton Whisky, Boot Barn, Busch Light, Cooper Tires, Kubota, RAM, Silencer Shop, and the U.S. Border Patrol. The San Diego dates are February 5 and 6, 2027, at the Pechanga Arena.
