Brooklyn post-punk band Geese perform their Getting Killed Again Tour, joined by avant-garde guitarist Bill Orcutt.
Geese are playing Petco Park on Tuesday, October 13, as part of their Getting Killed Again tour. They're a Brooklyn breakout band known for a high-energy blend of jagged post-punk, blues-rock swagger, and an infectious avant-garde drive. The show is at Gallagher Square, and they're bringing along Bill Orcutt to open.
Orcutt is a Miami native and an avant-garde guitar virtuoso with a reputation as a noise legend. Between the two, you've got a Brooklyn band that leans into post-punk and blues-rock and a Miami guitarist who works in noise and avant-garde guitar—two different ways of thinking about the electric guitar on one bill. Geese are the headliners, and Orcutt takes the opening slot.
There's also a charitable side to the tickets: Geese have partnered with PLUS1, so $1 from every ticket sold goes to organizations driving positive change in their communities. It's a small addition that adds a bit of weight to the purchase.
