Caifanes

Caifanes are playing the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre on Friday, October 30, 2026. It's a rock en español show, and they're the only act on the bill.

If you're not familiar with them, Caifanes is one of the biggest names in Spanish-language rock. They've been around since the mid-eighties, and their sound blends rock with Latin rhythms and lyrics in Spanish. They're known for a mix of guitar-driven songs and a strong melodic sensibility, and they've built a following that spans decades and borders. This is a full-band performance, so you'll get the electric sound they're known for rather than something stripped back.

The show is at the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU, an outdoor venue in San Diego. Since it's an open-air space, it's worth keeping the weather in mind for a late October night. The concert starts at 8 PM, which gives you plenty of time to get there and settle in before they take the stage. It's a single-act bill, so the focus stays on them for the whole evening.

If you've been following them for years, this is a chance to hear their songs live in San Diego. If you're new to them, it's a good way to get a sense of their sound in a live setting. The show is on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 8 PM at the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU.
