Free show by brothers Conor and Ryan Ashe, blending alternative, psychedelic, Americana and jam rock, at Hennessey's Tavern.
Ashe Brothers play Hennessey's Tavern in San Diego on Saturday, October 17. It's a single-act bill, so the brothers are the only ones on the lineup.
Ashe Brothers are Conor and Ryan Ashe, brothers from Long Beach who first got into rock 'n' roll at age 12. They describe their sound as alternative and psychedelic rock, and that's only a part of it. Their set draws from a wide range of influences—classical, jam, Americana, prog, blues, folk, country, and classic rock—and they say they're trying to bridge the gap between all those different styles and all kinds of people with a focus on inclusiveness. If you're into psychedelic rock, you'll find it here, but you'll also hear the Americana and prog-rock they pull from.
