Extreme metal night headlined by Xoth, with HAVOK, Slackjaw and Among Wolves at Metro Music Hall.
Havok head up a full bill at Metro Music Hall on Wednesday, October 21, with Xoth, Slackjaw, and Among Wolves joining them. JRC Events is putting the night together, so it's a four-band run rather than a single act.
Xoth comes from Seattle and has been around since 2014. Their 2019 album Interdimensional Invocations became a cult classic, blending technical death metal, black metal, and thrash. Their third record, Exogalactic, came out through Dawnbreed Records and pushed the sound further. That one was mixed by Joe Cincotta at Full Force Studio, and the artwork is by Shindy Reehat of Shindy Design. If you've followed them since the early days, Exogalactic is the latest they've put out.
With Havok leading the bill and Slackjaw and Among Wolves filling out the rest, it's a full night of extreme metal. Xoth sits right in the middle of that, pulling from death, black, and thrash all at once. If you're into technical death metal, that's a good place to start.
