Cider tasting of eight Utah cideries to celebrate National Cider Month, with local craft and jewellery vendors at Scion Cider Bar.
Scion Cider Bar is hosting the Utah Cider Showcase on Sunday, October 25, from 12 PM to 5 PM. It's a local celebration of National Cider Month, and the draw is simple: all eight of Utah's cideries will be in one place at the same time. If you've ever wanted to compare the state's cider scene without driving all over the valley, this is the day to do it.
Admission to the bar is free. When you arrive, you can pick up a $20 tasting punch card that gets you eight 2-ounce pours—one from each of the eight participating Utah cideries. The pours are served in the alleyway, so you can work your way through the lineup at your own pace. Between the cider, the afternoon makes room for local jewelry and craft vendors, so there's more to browse than just the drinks.
