Annual autumn festival at the historic open-air shopping and dining complex with trick-or-treating, trunk-or-treat and a pumpkin drop.
The Trolley Square Fall Festival returns to Historic Trolley Square on Saturday, October 24, as part of the annual autumn gathering at the open-air shopping and dining complex in Salt Lake City. It's a family-focused day that leans on a few specific traditions, so if you're bringing kids, there's a clear path through the afternoon.
The main draw is trick-or-treating around the square, where you loop through the businesses to collect treats and toys. Alongside that is a Trunk or Treat run with Automotive Addiction, and the pumpkin drop, where a pumpkin is dropped down the water tower. Just a heads-up on that one: the pumpkin isn't included, so you'll need to bring your own if you want to take a turn.
Costumes are a big part of the day, but they have to be family-friendly. That means no full-face masks and no toy weapons, so keep that in mind when you're putting the outfits together. Street performers will also be around the square throughout the festival.

As for the cost, trick-or-treating is $5.00 per child, and each pumpkin toss is $2.00. The whole thing is at Historic Trolley Square on Saturday, October 24.
