Headliner The Paradox, with special guests Meet Me @ The Altar, play Metro Music Hall on their first coast-to-coast headline tour.
The Paradox play Metro Music Hall on Sunday, October 25, with Meet Me @ The Altar opening. It's part of their first-ever coast-to-coast headline tour, the Proceed With Caution Tour, presented by Rockstar Energy. The set follows the release of their Proceed with Caution EP.
If you haven't come across them yet, the band formed in Atlanta in the summer of 2024. They're four young African American musicians who describe themselves as redefining the look and sound of pop-punk, and they've had a meteoric rise since then. Within three weeks of posting their first content online, they'd passed 130,000 followers; less than a year and a half later, they're at 2.1 million across all platforms. They've already hit number one on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart.
That growth has come with a long list of high-profile co-signs. Billie Joe Armstrong personally invited them to open a Green Day stadium show, and they've been shouted out by Travis Barker, Joel Madden, Jack White, Kid Cudi, SZA, and LeBron James. This tour is their first time headlining their own shows across the country, so it's a different kind of bill than the opening slots they've been playing.
