Halloween night show by Salt Lake City hard rock and indie rock band Sunfish, with Acacia Ridge, No Such Animal and Dissolve US, at an AA venue.
Sunfish are playing Soundwell on Thursday, October 29, at 7 PM. They're a Salt Lake City band, and this is a local bill, so you'll see them on their home turf. Carter Sears is one of the members.
Their sound covers a fair amount of ground. It pulls from hard rock and indie rock, but it also reaches into alternative metal and alternative rock. If you're used to them leaning one way or another, it's worth keeping in mind that they work across those lines rather than sticking to just one. The set will draw from that mix.
They aren't the only ones on the bill. Acacia Ridge, No Such Animal, and Dissolve US are all playing, so it's a full night of music rather than a single act. The whole thing is billed as a Halloween night, which gives you a good idea of the timing—the night before the holiday itself.
