Touring Broadway production of the Tony Award-winning musical 'Suffs' at the Delta Performance Hall of the Eccles Theater.
Suffs, the Tony Award-winning musical, comes to the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater on Wednesday, November 11. It's playing in the Delta Performance Hall, which is the main stage that hosts the Zions Bank 'Broadway at the Eccles' series, so this is one of those touring Broadway productions that makes its way through Salt Lake City.
If you're not familiar with the theater, it's a 2,500-seat venue in downtown Salt Lake City, housed in a five-story building with a glass lobby, outdoor terraces, and an on-site restaurant, Tin Angel, which is a local farm-to-table bistro. The architects at Pelli Clarke Pelli drew inspiration from southern Utah's canyon landscape, and the hall's signature star-field ceiling is something some acts actually work into their performances. The theater also helped drive the renovation and revitalization of Regent Street, which has since become a lively urban thoroughfare of new local restaurants and retail. For over 25 years, Broadway Across This America has been the one bringing touring Broadway shows to Utah.

Inside the building, the Delta Performance Hall is where the big touring shows and the 'Live! at the Eccles' events series land. There's also the Regent Street Black Box, which stages local dance, theater, film, and concerts. So if you're heading downtown for Suffs, you're in the part of the city that's built around this kind of thing. The show runs on Wednesday, November 11, at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City.
