The internationally acclaimed music collective Postmodern Jukebox brings its 'The Future is Vintage' tour to the Eccles Theater, reimagining modern pop hits as vintage masterpieces.
Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox brings The Future is Vintage world tour to Delta Hall at the George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Theater on Thursday, November 19, 2026. It's a one-night stop in Salt Lake City for the music collective, which is led by pianist and creator Scott Bradlee.
If you've come across them before, you know the whole point of the project: they take modern pop hits and reimagine them as vintage masterpieces. They call it a "time-twisting" style, and the arrangements pull from jazz, swing, electro swing, and other retro eras. The songs they work with aren't just from the radio, either. The live show puts a retro spin on everything from '70s rock classics and '80s Britpop staples to today's chart-toppers, movie themes, and video-game soundtracks. It's a rotating cast of singers, dancers, and instrumentalists on stage, so the lineup changes from show to show.
Bradlee started the project back in 2010 in a Queens basement, and it's grown from there. Since then, the group has played over 1,000 shows across six continents and charted on the Billboard charts. They've amassed more than 2 billion views online, and the live show is known for being high-energy and joyous. The production is recommended for ages 8 and up; infants aren't admitted, and all patrons need a ticket regardless of age.
