Halloween pop-up bar with spooky craft cocktails, wicked bites, open-format DJs, Scare-Oke and resident magicians, over-21s only.
Something Wicked is a Halloween pop-up bar tucked inside Studio at Soundwell at 149 W 200 S, and it's open from September 11 through November 1. It's built around the kind of vintage horror you'd rewind: late nights, strange cocktails, and a little bit of trouble. The room leans on retro video-store nostalgia, with a comic-book monster atmosphere that puts you right in the mood for the season.
There's a dedicated menu of spooky craft cocktails and wicked bites to work your way through, and the entertainment keeps moving throughout the night. Open-format DJs set the tone, and they've got Scare-Oke for when you want to take the mic yourself. Resident magicians are also on hand, so there's usually something happening around the room beyond just the drinks.

It's an over-21s spot, and since it's a pop-up, reservations are encouraged. Keep in mind there's a 90-minute reservation limit, so if you're planning a long night with a group, that's something to work around. The hours change depending on the day: Monday through Friday it's open from 4 PM to 1 AM, and Saturday and Sunday it runs from 12 PM to 1 AM. With the weekend shift starting at noon, it works as much for a late lunch or a boozy afternoon as it does for a late-night run.
