Sunday of the two-day ScienceFest celebration of science in Utah, with demonstrations, meet-and-greets with researchers, hands-on activities and science lectures.
ScienceFest returns to the Natural History Museum of Utah on Sunday, November 8, as part of a two-day celebration of the science happening right here in Utah. The whole thing is built around the people, discoveries, and innovations driving scientific advancement in the state, so it's less about textbooks and more about the actual work being done in our own backyard.
It's designed for the science-curious and lifelong enthusiasts alike, and it's family-friendly, too. The schedule mixes science demonstrations and meet-and-greets with researchers, hands-on activities for kids and families, and science lectures. There are also citizen science opportunities if you want to get involved yourself, alongside in-depth paid workshops for anyone who wants to dive deeper into a specific topic.
Because it's spread across two days, you can pick and choose what fits your pace. You might spend the morning with the hands-on activities and the kids, then stick around for a lecture or a chat with a researcher later in the day. If you're coming with a group of different ages, there's enough going on that everyone can find their own thing.
