Classic improv comedy where the troupe builds hilarious scenes on the spot from audience suggestions.
Quick Wits are back at the Quick Wits Comedy Lab on Friday, October 30, with their Quick Wits Classic show. It's the kind of night you've probably seen them do before: fast laughs, audience suggestions, and scenes made up right on the spot. If you've never been, that's the whole point—nothing is scripted, and the crowd provides the prompts they use to build the sketches as they go.
Quick Wits is an improv comedy and entertainment troupe that's been around the block. They describe themselves as Utah's first and funniest comedy improv, and they're currently celebrating 30 years of performances. That's a long run for an improv group, and it means they've spent three decades working with the same basic format: taking a suggestion from the room and running with it. The Classic billing tells you exactly what to expect—the straightforward improv they've built their name on.
