Monthly night market with local makers, food and drink vendors and live music at Melancholy, the last one of the year with costumes encouraged.
Melancholy Wine & Cocktail Lounge hosts the Post District Night Market on Friday, October 30, from 6 PM to 10 PM. It's the last one of the year, and since it falls the night before Halloween, costumes are encouraged.
If you haven't caught one before, the Post District Night Market is a monthly series that runs on the last Friday of the month from May through October. Each edition brings together a curated selection of local makers, food and drink vendors, and live music, all under one roof. It's a local market in the middle of the city, and this October date is the season finale.
Because it's the final one of the year, there's a bit more to it than a typical Friday night. The costume suggestion is a nod to the date, so you can show up as yourself or in something a bit more elaborate. The market format means you can spend the evening drifting between the makers' tables and the food stalls, with live music running in the background.
