Mad King Productions' stage adaptation of Stephen King's 'Carrie', directed by Chad Henwood, with evening performances and a Sunday matinee.
Mad King Productions is bringing Carrie: The Musical to MadKing's Fellowship Theater this month, with performances running from October 15 to 25. It's based on the Stephen King novel, so if you know the story, you've got a head start: Carrie White is a teenage outcast bullied by the popular crowd at school and dominated by her loving but cruelly controlling mother. Along the way, she discovers she has a special power she isn't afraid to use if she's pushed too far. The production is directed by Chad Henwood.
The theater is located at 167 S Rio Grande, on the upper floor near Megaplex Theaters in the Gateway Mall area. It's worth mentioning that an additional performance was added due to popular demand, so there are a few more dates to choose from than originally planned. Most shows are in the evening at 7 PM, with a Sunday matinee at 3 PM if you'd rather catch it in the afternoon.

Parking is paid at Gateway Mall, though it's free on Sundays, which makes that matinee a bit easier on the wallet. Tickets are $27 general and $17 for students, and you'll need to show a valid student ID to get the discount.
