Monster-mash night of post-hardcore and metal with Warm Veins, Vicious Souls and Wicked Temple at Kilby Court.
Warm Veins headline a SLUG Localized showcase at Kilby Court on Thursday, October 22, with Vicious Souls and Wicked Temple filling out the bill. It's a three-band run of post-hardcore and metal, and the whole night is billed as a monster-mash—the place to get your monster-mash fix in October. The venue itself is the longest running all-ages spot in Salt Lake City, so it's a night that works for all ages.
Warm Veins take the top spot, and the supporting acts, Vicious Souls and Wicked Temple, keep the evening in the same heavy neighborhood. Between the post-hardcore and the metal, it's a full night of loud, distorted music, and the monster-mash framing gives it a seasonal lean that fits the date. The show runs from 6 PM to 9 PM, so you'll be in and out by mid-evening.
